Winter in Lake Geneva
This is a busy week-end here in Lake Geneva. We start the festivals on Friday evening at 6 pm at Caribou Coffee with a reading of "The Poplar Express" by John R Powers. After the reading, a traditional tree lighting ceremony will be held at the Riviera. On Saturday the annual Great Electric Children's Christmas Parade will start at 5 pm at the corner of Williams and Marshall and will proceed down Broad Street.
With Mother Nature blessing us with a little snow this should help Grand Geneva with the opening of the ski hills this week-end. Grand Geneva is boasting that they have over a half million lights across the resort for their 13th Annual Christmas in the Country. This is my personal favorite. The Grand has several other attractions such as sleigh rides, breakfast with Santa, trolley rides and much, much more.
