Lauderdale Landing Restaurant Under New Ownership!

Posted to Mick Balestrieri

As of December 1, 2009 the Lauderdale Landing Bar/Restaurant /Marina on Lauderdale Lakes is under new ownership and management. Long time Lauderdale Lakes owners, Martin & Joanne Healy have purchased the property and their son’s Marty & Mike will be operating the business. They bring with them a strong knowledge of the lake community, its residents, and the restaurant/hospitality business. Marty & Mike look forward to providing the lakes area with a warm, personalized service for many years to come and hope you will join them frequently for great food, drink and camaraderie.

They have decided to keep the name the “Lauderdale Landing” and have established a web site, www.LauderdaleLanding.com, to post hours of operations, events, specials, and general information.

Marty and Mike will be busy throughout the Holiday season orienting themselves to the past operations and vendors and gearing up for a late January 2010 “soft opening”. Several improvements are planned including functional and cosmetic upgrading of the bar equipment, kitchen, and bathrooms. Future improvements include dredging the lake frontage, upgrading the piers, cosmetic repairs to the exterior, new signage, and expanding the hours of operation with an innovative, delicious and affordable menu.

On behalf of the lake community we would also like to thank the Triebe’s for their years of friendship and great service to the lake residents and wish them the best in their future endeavors. Carole Triebe and her late husband, Fred Sr., successfully ran the Lauderdale Landing for two decades, raising their children Laura and Fred, Jr. and working them into the business as well.
