Golf Carts
Golf carts are no longer for use just on the golf course. They have become a staple in many homes and condominiums including Lake Geneva.
While they still are not licensed to be on most roadways, they are a great addition to estates, lake homes or rural properties as an inexpensive way to get around. They can be used to pick up the mail, haul gardening accessories, drive to the neighbors, or just for fun.
Some are customized to resemble Harley Davidsons, Rolls Royces, Cadillacs, limos or even roadsters. They can be outfitted with horns, windshields, speaker systems, mirrors, fans, radios, cell phone holders, DVD players and canopies of every description. Club Cars. EZGO, and Yamaha are the three more popular manufacturers in either gas or electric models.
Abbey Springs and the South Shore Club hold contests for decorating golf carts at their 4th of July festivities while other neighborhoods hold golf cart parades to show off their handiwork. It is a fun and green way to travel!
