Lake Geneva's Venetian Festival
Venetian Festival starts August 19th and goes thru August 23rd (Wednesday thru Sunday). To me this means the end of summer is near. While driving into Lake Geneva do not forget that part of Broad Street is shut down for the festival. The Jaycees have put together another top notch program for family fun.
On Wednesday and Thursday night is wristband night for $15 from 5-10pm and then on Saturday from noon to 5pm. There will be entertainment at the beer tent Wednesday thru Friday starting at 8 pm and ending at midnight. New Dog Trick on Wednesday night and sponsored by Next Door Pub. Thursday will be Saddlebrook sponsored by PepsiAmericas. Friday is The Toys sponsored by First Banking Center. Saturday from 3-7 pm is Yesterday and today’s favorites and First Kiss 8 pm to midnight. Sunday is sponsored by Martin Business Group with WKLG Radio Live Broadcast with Music from 3-7 pm and Local Favorite Band 8 to midnight.
Saturday and Sunday there will be a craft fair being held at Library Park.
Sunday the water show starts with Wonder Lake Ski show at 6 pm. At dusk Gage Marine has there boat parade with the Fireworks for the grand finale.
