Delavan Lake Area Construction Begins
Construction between North Shore Drive and South Shore Drive of Delavan Lake began today. State Highway 50, which connects the north and south part of the lake, has begun a repaving project.
The project will start with the milling off of the surface of the road. This step is scheduled to finish up on September 4, 2009.
The paving is scheduled to start on September 8, 2009 and finish September 18, 2009.
The other parts of the project include bridge deck paving, striping, curb repair and signal work.
The project is set to be complete October 7, 2009. The road will remain open, but there will be delays traveling along this route.
