2009 Lake Geneva Wine Festival
The 2009 Lake Geneva Wine Festival is set to pour, beginning Friday, September 11 and continuing through Sunday, September 13. Celebrating its third year, the Festival proceeds will benefit the Geneva Lakes YMCA, George Williams College of Aurora University and Holiday Home Camp, nonprofit organizations located in the Geneva Lake area. Offering 13 events over the 3 days, the festival offers the opportunity to sample wine and food from around the world at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva. On Sunday, George Williams College, Williams Bay, will host the culminating event - the Celebrity Chef Demonstration by Christina Machamer, 2008 winner of Fox TV Hell’s Kitchen series.
