More Oktoberfest Activities - Lake Geneva, Wisconsin Keefe-Giovannetti blog

Posted to

Besides the wonderful activities in Lake Geneva, great Oktoberfest fun and entertainment can be experienced outside the city confines.  One great way to enjoy the beautiful fall colors and the historic lake homes is to take one of the many narrated boat tours provided by Gage Marine.  For this Columbus Day weekend, extra Full Lake, Geneva Bay, Ice Cream Social and Cocktail Tours have been added. Some tours are even on the historic Polaris and the Steam Yacht Louise!  Check the link for more details.

Looking to entertain the kids?  Pearce’s Farm is located just outside of Williams Bay at the intersection of Highways F and 67.  While the adults can choose from the best fresh fruits and vegetables grown on the farm, the kids can pick pumpkins, take a hayride and play hide-and-seek in the hay bale fort and maze.  Or, visit The Elegant Farmer in nearby Mukwonago.  Now through October 30th, you can pick your own apples from the orchard and pumpkins from the patch.  Take in the sights on the tractor-pulled hayride or vintage trolley excursion.  Top it all off with the Elegant Farmer’s signature apple pie baked in a paper bag.

Are there any better ways to experience autumn in Wisconsin?
