D.A.R.E. Program
The D.A.R.E program began in the early 80’s in Los Angeles. It has proven to be so successful that it is being implemented in 75% of our school districts. Recently a local school, Wheatland Center, just east of Lake Geneva WI, held their D.A.R.E graduation. A couple of students were picked to recite their award winning essays. Another student who was on the winning block recited his witty D.A.R.E. poem. Deputy Rowe boasted about the impressive parent attendance at the graduation. Wheatland WI is a place where families, schools & community work together.
