Side Trips from Lake Geneva, WI: Old World Wisconsin Offers A Glimpse of Christmas Past

Posted to Area Attractions & Events

Old World Wisconsin, located just 20 minutes north of Lake Geneva Wi in East Troy, Wisconsin is the perfect blend of history, culture, entertainment, and nostalgia. It’s an especially lovely place to visit during the Christmas holiday season. For example, during the first two weekends of December, visitors could learn about the origins of our most beloved Christmas traditions, such as storytelling and caroling in a 19th Century village crossroads created especially for this event. Next weekend, Old World Wisconsin will host Breakfast with Father Christmas. Breakfast will be served from 9:30am-12:30pm Saturday and Sunday in the Clausing Barn. It’s a delightful way to ring in the season with old fashioned magic. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and be sure to bring your camera for a picture with the jolly old elf himself!
