Lake Geneva Homesale and Illinois Home Purchase in 21 days!

Brian & Jan had received an offer they could not refuse. A good price for their unique home near Lake Geneva Wisconsin in Bloomfield Township,  a cash buyer, and a fast closing. This is most seller’s dream come true, so naturally they accepted it! Then it really hit them, “how hard will it be to find the right replacement home…fast”?

 Being a licensed real estate agent in both Illinois and Wisconsin, I was asked to help them find a new home in Illinois. With Brian out of town on business, Jan and I did a marathon tour of the 20 best choices gleaned from a MLS search of the Grayslake Illinois area. I had taken the time to call each of the listing agents for these homes and confirm that the property could be sold with a very fast closing.

When Brian came home we went back and looked at the top 3 homes. They set their sights on a beautifully remodeled 4 bedroom home in a great sub-division. An offer was written, negotiated, and accepted within the next 24 hours. Brian and Jan’s lender could not move fast enough, so a quick call to local lender Will Ruemmele at the Lake Geneva   Anchor Bank got us back on the fast track.

The seller was also the remodeler, and very professional.  He was able to accommodate Jan & Brian’s needs and the  whole process ended in a successful closing only three weeks after the original offer for their Wisconsin home near Lake Geneva was accepted.

I am happy to report that Brian and Jan are delighted with their new Grayslake home, as is the buyer of the house they sold in Bloomfield Township Wisconsin.
