Lake Sales Beginning to Revive in Walworth County

Posted to Janis Hartley

Two Walworth County lake properties recently received a flurry of attention – and now have accepted offers – from buyers in the $1m+ price range. That’s good news for high-end sellers who have been waiting for this market to begin “blooming” this spring. The first property listed at over $2m. went for over asking price in a multiple offer/counter offer negotiation.

The second property, a Lake Beulah lakefront on over 2 acres, also received multiple offers. For buyers wondering “if the value is really still there” these two properties prove there is a very viable waterfront market in Walworth County. Whether you are contemplating lake rights/lake access or lakefront property don’t let complacency nudge you out of the running.

One of the most outstanding values on the market currently is my listing on Booth Lake – a crystal clear, smaller lake located in East Troy. Just 20 minutes west of I94, this immaculate, 4 bedroom/4 bath brick ranch with finished lower level sits on 100’ of slightly elevated beautiful frontage. Sporting a boat house and 2-car detached garage it is listed at under $650,000 – a steal!
