Lake Geneva Snow Sculpting - The Underclassmen

Posted to

I know, I know! You have heard a lot about the snow sculpting competition that took place the first weekend of February down by the Riviera in Lake Geneva, but I bet you didn’t know that there were some unknown budding artists there as well!

That’s right– there were some underclassmen of the world-class sculptors hard at work. They were the Fontana Grade School 8th Graders. The art teacher, Sybil Klug, had about 19 of the students enjoying a unique experience.

Each team came up with their idea or theme, and they executed it in Lake Geneva. The sculpture with the heart seemed appropriate for this week because she is close to my heart – my daughter!
