DAY 18 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Food Pantry of Lake Geneva

Looking for a way to help out in your community? Think about donating some non-perishable food items to the Food Pantry of Lake Geneva. Located in the lower level of the First Congregational United Church of Christ on Wisconsin Street in Lake Geneva, they are open M-W-F from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and service approximately 250 families a month. Staffed with volunteers, they rely on donations from the community to assist with providing food to those less fortunate. I spoke with the staff this morning and was told that they are currently low on sugar, flour and macaroni and cheese. Keefe Real Estate has an ongoing food drive, and items are delivered every couple of months. Whether you are looking to make a family donation or organize a drive through your school, church or place of business, it is a feel good way to help families right here in Lake Geneva.
