Remember that line from the musical “Chicago,” the one that went, “…and I’ll…razzle dazzle you!” Well, for 32 years Paul and Kathy Yih of China West Jewelers in Downtown Lake Geneva have been dazzling their customers with outstanding custom diamond and gemstone designs. I visited Kathy over the weekend and she shared some of her favorite pieces with me. The amethyst heart was designed by Paul and, since amethyst is February’s birthstone, it would make a perfect Valentine’s gift for that special woman in your life. A stunning, 3-stone aquamarine pendant caught my eye – that’s the birthstone for March – and I especially liked the way the gems cascade. Downtown Lake Geneva shopping is a mecca for visitors and those of us who call Lake Geneva “home.” While jewelry happens to be one of my favorite gifts, shops such as The Snappy Turtle offer women’s clothing that’s just a little bit special and out of the ordinary.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this is the perfect time to explore shopping in Lake Geneva.
