DAY 19 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Tempura House
If you are a lover of Japanese food, the Tempura House in Lake Geneva is a must-try. There is a small sushi bar in the lounge area that can prove to be entertaining as you watch the chef create his colorful and beautifully displayed dishes. The food here is consistently good with a menu that includes but is not limited to Hibachi, Tempura, Mongolian and Curry. All dinner entrees include rice and a house salad with an amazing homemade ginger dressing.
The Hibachi Chicken is a favorite with the marinated chicken being served on a sizzling platter with a side of stir fried mushrooms, onions and zucchini. This location is a former single family home that is full of charm and character. The main floor dining area is what would have, at one time, been the front porch. Floor to ceiling windows offer great lighting in the dining room at lunchtime, yet it is quiet and romantic at dinner.
