Thinking about hitting the waters of Lake Geneva this summer to do some paddling? If so, you should consider checking out Canoecopia. The event sponsored by Rutabaga is billed as the World’s Largest Paddlesports Exposition and is taking place at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison this weekend. Exhibitors will fill the 100,000 sq. ft. hall to overflowing with boats, paddles and every accessory imaginable. Speakers and demonstrations run throughout the three day event. Whether your passion is paddle boarding, canoeing or kayaking this event promises you won’t be disappointed. For the convenience of parents, they are even offering child care services while you shop. It is unusual that I find myself with much free time during the nice weather months, but when I do, you are likely to find me on the water.
