Day 26 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Women of Lake Geneva's Past

Posted to 365 Things to Do in Lake Geneva, Area Attractions & Events, Geneva Lake Area

Join the Lake Geneva Women’s Project at the Lake Geneva Public Library on Wednesday March 16 at 6:30 p.m. as they present Women of Lake Geneva’s Past. Their costumed performances will recreate the lives of ten women who had a significant impact on Lake Geneva, including Mary Sturges, who donated the land for the Lake Geneva Public Library. They will showcase the changing roles of women from the early 1800’s through today. Ladies, bring your date, your daughter or a girlfriend. What a nice way to spend an evening and learn something about the women who helped develop the community you call home.
