Things to Do Lake Geneva

Posted to Area Attractions & Events

If you’re looking for things to do, Lake Geneva’s Covenant Harbor is hosting “Maple Fest” on Sunday, March 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  It’s a chance to enjoy fun winter activities and enjoy the history of this scenic lakefront property.  Start the day off right with a pancake breakfast featuring real maple syrup and then see how the sap is collected and processed to make the syrup.  Visit the craft show, and if you want something a little more exciting, try the climbing course, laser tag and helicopter rides!

Covenant Harbor was established in 1947 on the site of the original Sturgis estate known as Snug Harbor.  The property was purchased in 1947 by the Evangelical Covenant Church for use as a Bible camp. The original Sturgis home was used for lodging and administration until it burned in 1957.  Since that time, the camp has seen constant and steady additions and renovations and now boasts a ropes course, climbing tower and zip lines known as Snake Road Adventure Centre.  Covenant Harbor has served more than 28,000 guests and campers in youth, children's, family and adult ministries, Elderhostel, adventure and rental programs.
