DAY 21 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: The Village Supper Club

Nestled between beautiful lakefront homes on Delavan Lake, The Village Supper Club has been family owned and operated for 37 years. They provide excellent American and Italian cuisine seven days a week and boast being Delavan Lake’s only restaurant. It is not unusual for there to be an hour-long wait for a table on a Friday night, but their fiercely loyal customer base has no problem waiting for their famed Fish Fry, which is, without question one of the best in the area. Served family style with fried or broiled fish, french fries or potato pancakes, coleslaw and applesauce, it is well worth the wait. The restaurant offers two bar areas to accommodate waiting customers, as well as a deck overlooking the lake, which can be the perfect place for either lunch or a beverage before dinner weather permitting. Along with the American and Italian cuisine, their extensive menu also offers seafood, vegetarian and gluten-free meals. When my son comes home for a visit from Alaska, it goes without saying that this is our first stop on the way home from the airport.
