Featured Lake Geneva Artist has talent!
Allow me to introduce to you a Lake Geneva, Wisconin artist who has some amazing talent. Kevin Yanke has recently opened an online store featuring prints of several of his detailed pencil drawings, including a variety of personalities from the Dalai Lama and W.C. Fields to Bob Marley and Jim Morrison. Take a look at his online store.
This pencil drawing which is a close-up of Kurt Cobain is one of my favorites. Can you believe this was drawn with a pencil? The textures and dimension of this sketch are life-like. You can see every thread of the clothing, string of guitar and even the tension in the fingers.
Kevin should be adding more prints over the next few months as this is a small selection of his unique portfolio of personalities, famous and infamous. I love the Etsy sites, featuring a variety of handmade items and a variety of talents. Subscribe here to stay up to date.
