Day 53 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Earth Day Paddlefest

Posted to 365 Things to Do in Lake Geneva, Area Attractions & Events, Geneva Lake Area

Join Clear Water Outdoor on Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st for their 5th Annual Earth Day Celebration at Big Foot Beach State Park. Activities will run rain or shine both days with lots of fun and exciting events planned. Grab some friends and meet at the big tent by the lagoon at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning to help the community clean up the park and beach for the upcoming season. Plan to participate in the fun run through the park at 9:00 a.m. and then enjoy the day’s events. Sunday morning’s events start at 9:00 a.m. with a group paddle on Geneva Lake.

There will be kayak and stand up paddling demonstrations, Frisbee golf and raffles on both days, as well as ongoing equipment clinics, a film festival and live music. All proceeds from the raffles will benefit the Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park. Don’t miss this opportunity to volunteer to clean up the park, get out on the water, and celebrate Earth Day!
