Get Fresh for Summer and Buy Local
This summer enjoy the abundance and beautiful natural resources of the Lake Geneva Area by eating the fine, fresh food made available by our local farmers! There are a variety of options for partaking in these delicious offerings (often organic certified) through our community farmer’s markets, local businesses, and the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
Farmers Markets:
Lake Geneva Farmer’s Market – This petite farmer’s market runs Thursdays May-October 8 am – 1 pm. Local produce, flowers, honey, jams, and crafts. Located in down-town Lake Geneva in front of Horticultural Hall at 330 Broad Street – two blocks from the lake.
Elkhorn Farmer’s Market – A seasonal open-air market on Saturdays in June-October 7:00 am – 3 pm. Located at Courthouse Square in Elkhorn, WI.

Stop in for a “farm to fork” breakfast or lunch. Between the food and the vibrant décor, you’ll walk out feeling fresh and energized.

Sweet House of Madness – 521 Broad St, Lake Geneva, WI 53147 –
A newly opened bakery right next door to Simple; features from-scratch baked goodies made with local and sustainable ingredients. Also serves locally roasted Alterra Coffee, teas, and an assortment of cold refreshments.
Green Grocer – 24 West Geneva St, Williams Bay, WI 53191 – 262.245.9077
Locally owned grocery store offers organic and locally grown produce, meat, and dairy; package and bulk goods. Deli serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also provides catering, gourmet baskets, and dinners-to-go; wine and beer tasting every Saturday.

This neighborhood market bolsters their “Fresh Food Market” concept grocery store with seasonal local and organic produce, meat and seafood. Even if you’re not a Burlington resident, it’s worth the trip to pick up all kinds of delectable items. Also offers bulk dry goods.
Hours: M-Sun 7am – 8 pm
CSA: The local farms of Southeastern Wisconsin boast bountiful annual harvests, and through CSA, Walworth Country residents have access to the fresh seasonal produce, organic poultry, meat, flowers, and herbs from over 20 different farms right in the neighborhood! Many farms offer ½ - full shares for the season so you can go it alone or join with a friend.
