Day 60 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Badger High School Greenhouse Sale

Posted to 365 Things to Do in Lake Geneva, Area Attractions & Events, Geneva Lake Area

The 19th Annual Badger High School FFA Greenhouse Spring Plant Sale begins on Friday, May 6 at 8:30 a.m. Whether you are looking for annual bedding plants, perennials, vegetables, herbs, trees or shrubs the Future Farmers of America from Badger High School have it all ready for the upcoming planting season.

Looking for a bright and colorful way to tell Mom you love her on Mother’s Day? Stop by and pick up a beautiful hanging basket. She’ll love it and will be able to enjoy the sentiment all summer. They have added a large number of new plants this year, so shop early and your gardens will be the envy of your neighborhood. All proceeds from the sale of the plants will go toward leadership activities for the Badger FFA.

Need some containers to put all those flowers in? Make sure you don’t miss the Badger Art Students display of colorful clay pots. Prices range from $2.00 to $30.00 depending on size. Proceeds will assist in Art Scholarships and International Travel for next year.

The sale continues on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. thru May 21st and is open regular school days May 9th through the 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. These kids work hard all year to provide the community with plants for your yards. Please get out and support them and their efforts.
