Join the Amazing Race
Share your love of friendly competition, physical exercise, and the wish to benefit others in our local community and beyond by entering the 6th annual Geneva Lakes Amazing Race – presented by The Abbey Resort to raise funds for TSC – Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. The actual race day is July 30th, but the competition starts as soon as you sign up as a two-person team! Teams must raise a minimum $1,000 in entry donation – the first 15 teams to register and deliver their donation will have a chance to join the race. First prize is a week-long dream vacation; however the entire event offers the limitless reward of offering your time, energy and effort, not to mention fun and joy, to making a significant difference in the lives of individuals with TSC, progressive illnesses like MS, cognitive and other physical challenges. The race’s primary concern is to raise financial support for Inspiration Ministries – Walworth County’s Christian-based residential community and respite care provider for adults with disabilities, and the TS Alliance –a national voluntary health organization dedicated to providing support, raising awareness, and working with government institutions to research the causes and potential cures for TSC.
