Day 83 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Anchor's Away Public Art Event
Plan to attend an Open House for the kick-off of the Anchor’s Away Public Art Event at the Abbey Resort on Sunday, June 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will showcase 100 one-of-a-kind fiberglass sailboats and Chris Crafts that were painted and/or decorated by local and national artists. After the open house, the boats will be displayed throughout the summer in Walworth County communities.
Your $10.00 donation at the Open House will include live entertainment by Jeff Trudell and a cocktail. All proceeds will benefit SMILES, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to children and adults with special needs, and the improvement of their lives through partnering them with horses.
If by chance you happen to find a boat that captures your heart, you’ll have an opportunity to bid on it at the auction being held on September 25th at the Abbey.
