Day 51: Things to Do in Lake Geneva, WI 365 Days a Year: Walworth's Dairy Breakfast
Bring the kids, invite gramma and grandpa and moooo-ve on out to Walworth County’s 35th Annual Dairy Breakfast this Saturday, June 11th. This is a perfect way to help your little ones learn about the real food “chain” and offer them a bird’s-eye view of life on the farm. This year the breakfast will be hosted by the Kauer family on their farm in Walworth from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages will enjoy a hearty breakfast of deluxe scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and the perfect breakfast dessert…ice cream sundaes! Take a tour of the Kauer farm, enjoy rubbing elbows with your neighbors, and take a peek at the petting zoo. The price is right: $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Experiencing a day on the farm was one of the highlights of my children’s school years – definitely a photo op! So pack up the family and remember your camera and head out to Six Corners in Walworth on Saturday morning.
