Day 95 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Dog Day in the Bay
Put Rover on a leash and head to Williams Bay for the Dog Day in the Bay pet parade this Saturday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m. Costumes are encouraged for both you and your canine counterpart. Prizes will be awarded for best costume adult and dog, best costume child and dog and best pet trick. Do you resemble your “man’s best friend?” If so, make sure you enter the owner/pet look-alike contest.
The parade starts at the Lions Shelter at the Williams Bay Lakefront Park at 11:00 a.m. All pets must be leashed or crated. Prizes will be awarded at 12:15 p.m. Bring the whole family. There will be food and an opportunity to meet McGruff the crime dog.
Registration is $5.00 before June 17th and $6.00 the day of the parade. 1/2 of the proceeds will be donated to the Lakeland Animal Shelter.
