Day 98 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Annual Pork Chop Cookout

The Annual Pork Chop Cookout is happening this Wednesday, June 22nd at the Walworth County Fairgrounds Activity Center from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Adults, buy your tickets in advance and $9.00 will get you two boneless pork chops, a baked potato, coleslaw, apple sauce, rye bread, a beverage and ice cream. Kids are just $7.00. Tickets will be available at the door for $8.00 and $10.00. Carry-outs will also be available.
While at the fairgrounds, make sure you check out the Country Idol Contest auditions taking place on the Park Stage from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. And, don’t miss the crowning of the 2011 Walworth County Fairest of the Fair.
Call the fairgrounds at 723-3228 for a list of locations that are currently selling tickets. All proceeds will be used for a new sign at the main gate.
