Day 99 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Blue Ribbon Cheese Fest
Enjoy the best that Wisconsin has to offer at the Elegant Farmer this weekend as they celebrate Blue Ribbon Cheese Fest. The 2011 Championship Cheese award-winning cheeses will be available for tasting on Saturday, June 25th and Sunday, June 26th from 11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Cheesemakers will be on hand to talk about their products and answer any questions you may have.
The weekend festivities will also include the Wisconsin Blue Ribbon Cheesemaker's Train. Board the East Troy Electric Railroad’s air conditioned dinner car at the Elegant Farmer on Saturday for a two hour ride through the area. The train will be available for boarding at 12:30 p.m. and will depart at 1:00 p.m. While on the train, you can sample award winning cheeses while listening to the champion cheese maker’s stories. The trip wouldn’t be complete without a piece of the Elegant Farmer’s famous Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag.
It is recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance.
