A Walk in the Lurie Garden with Roy Diblik of Northwind Perennial Farm
Roy Diblik, co-owner of Northwind Perennial Farm, will host “A Walk in the Lurie Garden” at 11:00 a.m., June 25, 2011. Mr. Diblik is the official plant grower for the Lurie Garden located in Chicago’s Millennium Park and worked closely with the garden’s designers to grow and install over 15,000 plants there.
Mr. Diblik, along with partners Steve Coster and Colleen Garrigan, has transformed a 10-acre farmstead into a premier gardening destination, providing a stunning selection of perennials, native plants, ornamental grasses, and shrub roses uniquely suited to the southern Wisconsin climate. Showcased with unique planters, fountains, wrought-iron pieces and other garden art, the perennials and surrounding scenery make a visit to Northwind Perennial Farm a gardener’s paradise.
In addition, Northwind offers a wealth of events including tours, classes and farmers market. Click Northwind Perennial Farm for the calendar and more information.
