Lake Lawn Lodge Reopening
Many Wisconsin residents and past visitors to Lake Lawn Lodge in Delavan are excited about the reopening of a historic hotel. The marina and golf course reopened for Memorial Day weekend. According to Lake Lawn Lodge’s website, they anticipate an early July reopening of their rooms, with plenty of work for the resort to do before then.
Many people have been commenting on their Lake Lawn Lodge Facebook page, it’s great to read the comments from so many that will be back at the resort as soon as they can. It’s been a tradition for many people to vacation there year after year; I read one comment that the family had not missed a Fourth of July at Lake Lawn Lodge in 40 years, that’s impressive dedication to one resort. Management’s reply was that the Lookout Bar & Eatery is set to open this weekend, but indicated that they would not be taking room reservations until early July.
For us locals, it is great to see golfers back on the course and to have a favorite gathering place reopen.
