Day 104 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy 5K Run/Walk

Enjoy some of Mother Nature’s most spectacular work at the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy 5K Run/Walk this Saturday, July 2nd. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the conservancy’s main entrance located on Highway 67 across from the Lion’s Field House in Williams Bay.
The conservancy is made up of woods, wetlands, creeks and wildlife and was “established to insure the protection of this fragile (Geneva Lake) shore land-wetland area for future generations.” It was dedicated to The Children of Tomorrow in July 1990.
There is a ¼ mile kids run starting at 8:00 a.m. The 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. The course will follow the grass trails through both the woods and the prairie. Parking and restrooms are available at the Lion’s Field House. Pre-registration is available through the Williams Bay Parks and Recreation Dept. All proceeds will go toward restoration and maintenance of the conservancy.
