Intelligentsia Direct Trade Coffee
Did you know that coffee is better in season, just like fruits and vegetables? Have you ever enjoyed a cup of coffee that tastes great even as it cools off? Have you heard of Direct Trade? Stop by Lake Geneva’s newest hotspot -Boatyard Bagels- and treat yourself to a cup of Intelligentsia fresh roasted coffee, or a specialty espresso drink crafted from Intelligentsia’s Black Cat Espresso – one of the top five in the nation. Intelligentsia prides itself on offering fresh, in-season coffee that is a “true collaboration” with their farmers, “sourcing the best green coffee through direct relationships with farmers that care as much about what they are doing as we do.”
Each single origin coffee is prominently featured on Intelligentsia’s website. Boatyard Bagels features their Boat Yard Blend, hand selected and roasted in small batches by Intelligentsia’s Chicago Roasting Works. My current favorite is an unbelievably smooth coffee from San Jose, Nicaragua…stop in and have your specialty cup brewed for you on the spot to accompany a hand-crafted organic bagel sandwich (breakfast all-day)!
