Things to Do in Lake Geneva, WI 365 Days a Year: Day 66 - Williams Bay Art Festivals
Can’t get enough of Things to Do 365 Days a Year in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin? The Tenth Annual “Bay Art Festival,” is another awesome way to spend a few hours if you are visiting the Lake Geneva area. “Bay Art Festival” is a juried fine arts and limited craft fair, that will be held this coming weekend, July 23rd and 24th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Edgewater Park, Williams Bay, Wisconsin. I love exploring the wonderful fairs, art shows, musical events and other assorted goings-on throughout the Lake Geneva area all summer long.
Looking for an easy “first date?” Check out Music in the Park in Lake Geneva, Delavan, and East Troy – where visitors to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and its environs can enjoy the musical talents of blue grass, jazz, and classical artists (did I mention it’s FREE). Want to find the perfect piece of art to remind you of how gorgeous Geneva Lake is in summer – when it’s February and the only people on the lake are the crazy ice fishermen? Go to the Bay Art Festival this weekend! Looking for a snazzy, custom necklace? Run, don’t walk, to the Antique Fair held in August at Horticultural Hall in Lake Geneva! Want a spectacular sculpture for your new lakefront abode? You’ll find it at either the “Bay Art Festival” this weekend or at the weekend-long art festival held in August along the lakefront in Lake Geneva.
Whatever you do, don’t pass up the opportunity to share in the fun and the hunt for an exceptional piece of art from our little place in heaven…namely, Geneva Lake! By the way, monies raised by Bay Art Festival benefit the Williams Bay High School Art Scholarship Fund…and, as Martha Stewart would say, “it’s a good thing." See you “at the lake!”
