Day 108 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Apple Barn Orchard and Winery

It’s strawberry season and at the Apple Barn Orchard you can either pick your own or call ahead and they will have them ready for you when you stop by. Plan to call ahead to confirm picking conditions before you head out. They may close periodically to ensure that there is an ample supply of ripe berries. It is suggested that you plan to pick your strawberries either early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the sun is setting.
Containers are provided at the Orchard, and they will also supply you with instructions on how to select and pick the best berries. Pick your own prices are $2.50/quart or 4 quarts for $8.00.
Fewer things are more fun than picking berries with your kids. They will generally eat more berries than they save, and the red berry juice from ear to ear will likely confirm that!
