Day 139 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Movies Under the Stars

Posted to 365 Things to Do in Lake Geneva, Area Attractions & Events, Fontana, Geneva Lake Area

365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI went looking for fun, family friendly and affordable activities for the upcoming weekend and found that the Big Foot Recreation Department has several events planned. Movies Under the Stars is offering you two different movies on two different nights in two different communities!

Plan to head to Goodland Park in Sharon on Friday, August 19th for an 8:30 p.m. showing of the DreamWorks Transformers movie starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel. Saturday evening’s movie is being shown on the Fontana Beach starting at 8:30 p.m. and is none other than Universal Studio’s Jurassic Park starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and a lot of really big, really mad dinosaurs.

Both movies are being projected onto the Big Foot Recreation Department’s 16’x9’ inflatable movie screen, so bring your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks and maybe some bug spray and plan to enjoy what most of us grew up loving – the drive-in movie (minus the car).

Admission is only $1.00 and concessions will be available. Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by someone at least 13 years old. Performances will be cancelled in the event of bad weather or high winds.
