A brand new neighborhood grocer has opened in the heart of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin! Roses Fresh Market promises “a fresh approach to honest food at honest prices” and that is exactly what I’ve found on my three visits thus far. Roses features local and organic – produce, prime meats, dairy, seasonal fruit like Michigan blueberries, musk melon, & heirloom tomatoes, a very impressive selection of wine, craft beer, and liquor, and an amazing array of cheeses – plus the prices are kind to the wallet.
On my lunch break I picked up a delicious fresh spinach salad and a generous side of juicy white musk melon all for $3; the most expensive item on my shopping list was goji and blueberry juice that I splurged on. Friendly and helpful staff is close at hand and open to suggestions, and the market’s atmosphere is light and energetic. Just three blocks from the lake and open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. – stop in today!
