Day 129 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Summer Festivals
It's festival season, and 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin heard there are a number of events going on this coming weekend.
The 42nd Annual Elkhorn Festival of Summer and Maxwell Street Days is this Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th on the square in downtown Elkhorn. The Elkhorn Rotary Club will be serving grilled chicken, brats and sweet corn. Come prepared for fun as there will be a carnival, live music and special events running throughout the festival. The Walworth County Fair’s Country Idol Semi-Finals are Friday night at 6:00 p.m. To coincide with the Summer Festival, The Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce brings you Maxwell Street Days with art and crafts, vendors, a farmer’s market, and more.
The 50th Annual Walworth-Fontana Corn and Brat Festival is this Saturday, August 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Walworth’s Heyer Park in downtown Walworth. Enjoy a sidewalk sale on the Village Square, a craft sale at Walworth School and live entertainment all day. The kids area includes a moonwalk, inflatable slide and games. Brats, hot dogs and sweet corn will available all day and is being sponsored by the Walworth-Fontana Rotary Club.
