Day 161 of 365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, WI: Applefest

Posted to 365 Things to Do in Lake Geneva, Area Attractions & Events, Geneva Lake Area

365 Things To Do in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin has found another affordable, family friendly event and it is happening this weekend. The Apple Barn Orchard and Winery in Elkhorn is celebrating the 23rd Annual Apple Festival this Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Bring grandma, grandpa, the kids and a wagon as enjoy selecting a pumpkin from the patch or picking apples in the orchard. If picking your own apples isn’t really your thing, no worries, they have apples “ready to go” in the Apple Barn.

Shop for arts and crafts, buy an Apple Barn cookbook, or check out the store with goodies galore including Wisconsin cheese, honey, jellies and jams. Take some time to wander the tree maze or just come out, sit and enjoy the entertainment they have planned.

They have tons of activities for the little ones, including face painting, an antique fire engine for them to play on, an inflatable slide and rides through the orchard.

Food, food, and more food! Enjoy caramel apples, fresh and frozen pies, breads and cookies and the oh-so famous apple cider donuts. The 4-H Reachout Members will be serving lunches consisting of brats, hot dogs, chili dogs, chips and beverages.

Plan to spend as much or as little time as you like. This is just a great way to spend a nice Fall day with friends and family.

We’d love to have you connect with us on Facebook, check us out at Lake Geneva Property.
