The 20th Annual Oktoberfest Family Fall Festival in Lake Geneva Wisconsin will be celebrated with events and attractions throughout the weekend of October 6, 7, and 8th. The celebration will take place in the downtown Lake Geneva shopping district and will feature fun, music, magic, and the Great Pumpkin Give Away. Stores will have shopping specials; restaurants will feature Oktoberfest menus and specialty drinks, and there will be a wagon ride for the little ones. Watch local papers for additional events and giveaways.

The Lake Geneva Oktoberfest celebration has become one of the highpoints of the fall season for both Walworth County visitors and residents. If you want to take home some local apples, stop at any one of the local orchards located just a short drive from Lake Geneva. The Elegant Farmer, in East Troy, Wisconsin, AppelTreow Winery and BrightonWoods Orchard in nearby Burlington, Wisconsin, and Haf’s Orchard in Bloomfield, all offer an amazing array of apples and apple products. The Elegant Farmer is a family-friendly and kid-friendly attraction with its vintage train, pick your own apples, and sweet-smelling bakery filled to the brim with freshly baked treats and steaming apple cider.

The weekend kicks off on Friday at the Grand Geneva Resort’s Grand Oktoberfest Event

The resort will feature traditional polka music and an extensive German buffet in a biergarten atmosphere. Take in the sounds of The Mike Schneider Band, while enjoying bratwurst, spaetzle, schnitzel, sauerbraten and much more. While you’re there, be sure to visit the Grand Geneva’s First Annual Corn Maze, open daily 10am-4pm through Halloween.
