Whisker Walk - October 1 in Delavan, Wisconsin

Lakeland Animal Shelter is owned and operated by a non-profit organization called The Lakeland Animal Welfare Society Inc. The shelter is located at 3551 Hwy 67 S in Delavan, Wisconsin. On October 1, come out to Upper Springs Park in Delavan, register and turn in your last minute pledges between 10am-10:45am. Then start the walk with your pup at 11am. The walk is approximately 1 mile with room for everyone; people and pups alike. If you don’t have a dog, bring a friend and their pups so you can each support the local animal shelter!

Other fun activities for the dogs and their owners will also be available. Animal contests including an obstacle course and the popular barking buffet, as well as a scavenger hunt will be available. A delicious lunch will be available for a small charge too!

All pets must be current on vaccinations, licensed and wearing proof of such on their collars. All pets must be on a leash 6ft or shorter at all times. T-shirts and goody bags will be given to all registered walkers with pledges of $25.00 or more.

Show up at 10am in Upper Springs Park in Delavan with your pup, your friend, your friend’s pup, your family and their pups too, register, donate your share to the Lakeland Animal Shelter, and have a wonderful time at this years Whisker Walk! The weather is supposed to be sunny and perfect for a nice walk and great day enjoyed by all! Help this year’s walk be more successful than the last; those with whiskers will very much appreciate it!
