As the fifth generation family farmer, I was born and raised on a 2,000 acre certified seed and beef farm in Elkhorn. After graduating from UW-Madison in accounting, I spent 12 years working at Alliant Energy in accounting, sales, and management. When my husband and I bought my 14th home, he jokingly said, “You know, with the way you buy and sell houses, we could have paid for a house on the ocean with all those commissions! Since you love it so much, why don’t you sell real estate for a living?” Boom, I took his advice and ran with it, and I’ve loved every minute of it!
My husband, three children, and I have lived in Rock County for the last ten years. When I’m not at the hockey rink with one of my kids, I stay active in my community and church, and I have been on the Rock County Christian School board for the past five years.
